Refunds policy
Policy Purpose & Authority
This policy governs student withdrawal and financial responsibility at Revelation School of Ministry (RSOM). It aligns the institution’s Withdrawal Policy with its Non-Refundable Tuition and Registration Fee Policy to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with recognized accreditation and administrative standards.
Student Withdrawal Policy
Students may voluntarily withdraw from an academic course or program by submitting formal written notice to RSOM. Withdrawal becomes effective on the date written notice is received and processed by the institution.
Withdrawal does not negate academic, financial, or administrative obligations incurred through enrollment.
Academic Impact of Withdrawal
Withdrawn courses may be reflected on the student’s academic record in accordance with RSOM academic policies. Students who withdraw may be subject to academic probation, loss of SAP standing, or ineligibility for re-enrollment, depending on timing and academic progress.
Financial Responsibility Upon Withdrawal
RSOM maintains a strict non-refundable tuition policy. All tuition and registration fees are non-refundable once a student has registered, enrolled, or been granted access to instructional materials or learning platforms.
Withdrawal—whether voluntary or involuntary—does not entitle the student to any refund of tuition or registration fees.
Registration Fee (Non-Refundable)
The registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. This fee covers administrative processing, student record creation, and institutional resource allocation and is not impacted by withdrawal timing.
Payment Plans & Withdrawal
Students enrolled under an approved payment plan remain financially responsible for the full tuition amount of the term or program, regardless of withdrawal, non-attendance, dismissal, or disciplinary action. Failure to complete payment obligations may result in administrative holds or restricted access to academic records.
Exceptional Circumstances
RSOM does not issue refunds for tuition or registration fees due to withdrawal, including circumstances involving medical, personal, ministry, or professional challenges. In rare cases, RSOM may, at its sole discretion, consider non-monetary alternatives such as deferment or future enrollment credit. Such consideration does not constitute a refund and is not guaranteed.
SAP & Graduation Impact
Withdrawal may negatively impact Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and graduation eligibility. Students who withdraw while on probation or who fail to restore SAP standing may become ineligible for continued enrollment or degree conferral.
Student Acknowledgment
By enrolling at RSOM, submitting payment, or participating in courses, students acknowledge and agree to comply with this Withdrawal, Tuition, and Registration Fee Policy. This policy applies to all programs, delivery formats, and enrollment periods.
